About the NJC:
"Turning Stories into Change"

Our Mission

Created by Dr. Ursula Metz, The Narrative Justice Collective is a documentary and storytelling initiative dedicated to amplifying authentic human stories with dignity, depth, and compassion.

The Narrative Justice Collective exists to tell stories that reveal the humanity behind the label.

Through creative productions, we explore resilience, transformation, service, justice, and hope while giving voice to experiences that are often misunderstood, overlooked, or reduced to stereotypes. We believe every person is more than a label, diagnosis, profession, statistic, trauma, or life circumstance.

Through short films, interviews, writing, and multimedia storytelling, we explore stories of resilience, transformation, belonging, service, recovery, and hope with the purpose of promoting critical thinking, compassion, and change.
